LAMDA EXAMINATIONS SUCCESS!

A CELEBRATION OF DANCE 2016

On Saturday July 2nd we held our 8th Celebration of Dance at Concord College, Acton Burnell. The evening was dedicated to the late Diana Griffiths, and as in previous years all money raised was donated to Hope House.
It was a magical evening of dance and drama and involved 87 girls and boys. Congratulations to all our performers and thank you to teachers Penny, Sarah and Anna for all your hard work. Thanks also to our generous audience for helping us to raise a wonderful £1,250.
The cheque was presented to Heather Hathaway (a friend of Hope House) at our end of term coffee morning and prizegiving on Saturday July 9th.

Congratulations to every pupil in the school! I thought everyone performed beautifully at this year’s “A Celebration of Dance”. Thank you for all your hard work!
On Saturday 9th July at 10.30 am we will be having our end of year prizegiving, to which you are all invited. There will be presentations of certificates and awards, and tea and coffee will be served. I look forward to seeing you all there!
Finally, the Microvideo envelopes are now available for ordering your DVDs of last Saturday’s performance.

Concord is getting nearer now, only 6 weeks away! Please don't forget classes at Dorrington on Saturday as normal, but not on Saturday June 4th (half term). Dress rehearsal is on Saturday June 25th, when Jenny Edmiston will be with us for photographs.
Please keep up good attendance!
